  • Have a VALderful day

    HELLO ALL!!

It's been awhile. I do feel that Westlife deserves longer as the first entry but life goes on...it does...soo here I am updating! Wohoo. Well this update is all about VALLLLLLLERIE. My lovely, beautiful, hug-able, cute, elastic, laugh with (and at) -able, talk to-able, sing with-able, just be with-able friend and sister. So val has been here for a month now and it's her last week!!!! Noooooo, I'll misss you soo much val, TOO much. So in the past month we've done a lot of cool things, with christmas, my b'day, new years etc etc. Since I haven't updated in a while and since I'm really bad at writing, we'll let the pictures talk for themselves (with captions here and there from me). So here's a Winter with Val:

    I had a Vally Birthday

We ate at Amoronies. I like to call these lovely people my long break buddies since we eat every long break together. I'll miss you all so much when we graduate.

Val trying very hard to cut the pork chops with a knife and a spoon. Those mashed potatoes were absolutely HEAVEN.

The B-E-A-U-TFUL Swarovski tree that TOTALLY beats the gross purple camera-eyed monster of a tree that was in NTP.

a pic of Val taking a pic

Val and I taking a pic with the angel, someday we'll be taking pics with real ones ;). XTC, very very nice. Vic and I had berry...delight or something with coffee...o maaan. Lurvely. And these are the quick random pics I took with each of the wonderful people who came. ;) Love you all very much.

Ahhh Connie looks so cute! haha. Something is seriously wrong here, I can't copy or paste, it's sooo annoying! ARGH! My photobucket links aren't working either so I have to upload them on xanga, reeeeally annoying. Sigh. O btw this was the day that Val arrived so she was dragging around monster baby, her luggage which was...the size of a baby monster. Hence...monster baby!!

After lunch, much picture taking and laughing at the belly-less Santa, half of us headed off to Youth group!

Corrisa and I on the bus up

This is pretty good aim seeing as how I was taking it from over my head, it was however the 2nd pic I took...haha, you don't want to see the first one.

Valls frantically asking me what we should do with monster baby, as you can see she looks very distressed but me on the other hand...'SMILE another picture!!!'. Corissa too seems to be concerned about the well being of monster baby, seeing what I have to say. 'SMILE! another picture!!!'

Awww sweet people! It never really got washed off so sometimes I go back up to YG and see bits of my name smudged here and there.

Here we are posing in front of the happy birthday, Andrew is...um really posing.

Me and Miki who turned 16 only 6 days before me. Thanks for wednesday, the remote bed WAS awesome.

Icebreakers, me with Joleeeene, then with miki and finally with VALLLLL. Awww Val.

Cake time!! I was caught saying something I think...not too sure.

Ok...it LOOKS like we finished the whole cake, like we're complete pigs. But we had just finished handing out cake to everyone else. We were left with the left overs which were later stolen from us by Gavin...ya so as birthday girls we didn't actually get to eat any of it.

    Jumping shots!

Then finally, the long awaited last day of term...

Preparing for the Christmas pantomime. O my it was so much fun, I've been wanting and waiting to be in it since...well a long time. It was fun, very happy.

The 'backstreet boys' hehe. Ronald looks so enthusiastic in his stripping...whilst Benny can't seem to get his jacket off.

Me and my favourite (and only) brother!!! Aww I miss youuuu. Hope you're having fun in the snow in Canada

Val, Nic and I with Sha Tin looking very pretty behind us

    Yum Chaaa

We went to Sha Tin park afterwards, twas fun.

Val and I did the usual....

These are the um theatre masks, comedy and tragedy! haha.

Charlies (4) Angels! We could tootally kill you...I mean look at Connie, she's already rejoicing in our victory. Vic looks ready to strike.

Heroic pose...and..um hanging off the tree pose?

Another heroic shot, and enlightened monk jumping pose.

We really do love you Val...haha

Ok...it seeeemed like a good idea at the time.

We're stranded at see looking out for our handsome boatmen to come rescue us. Then...well we decided we can survive on the whale rock by ourselves! We'll...be...pirates...ya! Pirates...ARRR.

I really don't understand why the font keeps changing, this is very annoying. Anywhoo carrying onnn. I had a Vally Christmas...actually I didn't, spent Christmas with my family but I had a Vally day after boxing day. har..ha...ahem.

These are the majorly cool correct your vision sun glasses looking glasses you can get from Watsons, they actually do correct your vision but no one wants to walk around looking like that, c'mon. hahah so we took a pic instead.

O and this is us having lots of fun in the Seiyu bathrooms, there were a lot of mirrors which we thought were really cool.

    And it was really big

Aren't these just the coolest pictures ever?

Theeeen I had a Vally New YEAR!!!

We spent new years at a worship session at church, afterwards we had tons of dessert to welcome in the new year. Ya well someone (not naming any names) told us to make handmade confetti because manufactured ones are too expensive. You would not believe how difficult it is to make hand made confetti. It does however soften your hands.

Worship was really good, the lights were really nice.

The Tsoi siblings leading worship, very cute.

Then the countdown began, we passed out party favours. I never thought they'd be as fun as they were. Here's Gavin with a pink disney princess one. haha

O and ya that's a plate of cake and cookies he's got there. There was gooood stuff, just we didn't get much time to actually eat.

Look! The confetti worked! Even got onto my cake...aiyaaa, that was one yummy cake which I didn't get to finish. Sigh.

Pastor Steve sweeping up the confetti whilst everyone else is just dancing around, haha.

A view from the bridge (ha..ha.). We ended up walking...well more like singing and screaming back to Pascal and Daegals place, we sorta invited ourselves over. Sadie, Val and I were planning to crash at Vals grandmas place but ended up following a bunch of people to Bel Air. We were welcomed in though, thanks you guys, really. O and that's the beautiful view from their balcony.

That bunch of people weren't planning to stay overnight...we on the other hand were too tired to get up to move so...we stayed. haha. It's about 1:30 - 2am and we're playing sheriads with bible verses...it's actually much easier than you'd think. Unless you know the bible very well and can resite some really cool and unknown verses.

Pascal enjoying a massage from Tomoya...haha omg this is a hilarious pic.

Stefff, thank you tooo for wednesday, muah, you're great. AND val trying to avoid the camera.

Andrew playing his (electric) cello 'look natural!' We spent about 2 hours just singing, it was lovely...absolutely lovely. We were in like 3 part and sometimes 4 part harmonies, we had a cello, a guitar, a huge black folder full of worship songs, a bunch of very talented, happy people and God.

We decided to stay up for the sunrise...so the second the sky started looking a little brighter we all fell asleep.

Proof that stef DID fall asleep, even though you didn't think you did. You look very unhappy. haha.

5 people on the couch, Daegal and I each got matresses, but even worse, Pascal got 4 chairs. hahah. o my, we love you Pascal, thanks again. haha. In the morning we went to MacD's just in time for breakfast...yay! Then we went to the Sha Tin park to just hang around.

Ya we're hanging off the monkey bars, it's the first time I've done that, feels very weird. Well stef the amazing gymnast was fine.

We sat down and continued singing, we just couldn't stop. haha it was great.

Haha I love that pic, with Gavin resting his head on the pole thing...it's funny. Ya we're um...purposely posing.

     Come now...we won't hurt youuuu....

These are nice, the sky is really pretty and I look very um...heroic...and tall.

There's a plane flying inbetween the two buildings...nice eh?

Not too sure what Gavin is doing here but we thought he looked like those Chinese...guys. hahahaha. o man, like he's not.

    Then
I had a Vally last day of holiday which is when we went to the Science museum...was so much fun.

    Here's Val and I again...o I love you Val!!!

I really don't understand how everyone who was listening to Andrew talking didn't realise he stopped to pose for a picture...everyone's just looking at him smiling...haha omg, it's a very odd picture.

    'SCIENCE MUSEUMMMMMM'

James looking wise 'where....where on earth is this?'

    Mirrors

Vall holding up On Yees leg whilst she just stands there and smiles blissfully...haha awwwww. Vall looks rather...stunned? O we were in the shadow room btw, we don't do this for fun. haha...

    Movement detector thing

O THIS was cool. The image you see on the table (left) is a picture of a ship wreck, waves and mountains but the reflection in the cylinder mirror is the portrait of an author...who was it again?

This is a picture of a garden with a gate on the left and a broken mirror on the right but again in the reflection of the cylinder mirror it's the portrait of M.C. Esher...coooool eh? Slighty freaky but really cool.

This was a lego structure of one of Eshers impossible shapes, it proves that it IS impossible. But when you look at it through that black thing, it gives you the perfect angle that makes it look possible, really cool. We spent a nice long time in the optical illusion section.

The tiny monster in front is being chased by the large one in the background but they're actually the exact same size, cute eh?

This cool 'pseudoscope' looked really really cool from the outside but we're all confused as to what it does and what amazing things we're supposed to observe looking through it..hm. And On Yee looking really cute, awwwww.

     I just love these

haha. It's really cool because it was a really small room and some how we still manage to look so small 'it's called optical illusion' ah haha...

Stef trying to prove she's a girl

James and Andrew trying to prove they're guys...HAHA...just jking.

    cool motion detector again

7 headed monster....RARRRR. That was a painful experience.

WELL so that's all that's happened this holiday. I'm sorry I haven't updated in ages but you all can understand...with that thing we call school. Val is leaving this Sunday, we're gonna miss you Val. Just...thanks, for everything, for really just everything. This Winter has been so amazing simply cos you've been here to laugh with me, to sing with me, to talk with me, to just be with me. It's been good Val, very good. I love to pieces!!

  • WESTLIFE

    WESTLIFE UPDATE

HELLO alll!! Hi Hi. Ok wellll  last saturday, as in...3 days ago. Michelle, Yvonne, Vic and I went to watch Westlife LIVE at the Asia-World Expo. AHHH It was...AWESOME (o wow, that totally freaked me out I mean right on....). I'll get straight to the point...here are the pictures of our AMAZING night.

    DINNER

So we started off with dinner at Fish and co. In NTP. We were really hyper the whole time. Michelle asked the waitor what the difference between a Sharkie Freeze and a passion fruit type of drink was and he said 'the passion fruit is made with spirit, the sharkie freeze is made with ice' 'o ok, I'll have that then'. Well as we were eating the waitor came over with the MASSIVE cup which was so tall I could barely see over the top to michelle who was sittting across from me (ok a little extreme). Michelle and I were staring at it, I looked over at Vic who was RED with laughter. 'WHAT....is that?' 'I...I...I think it's your Sharkie Freeze' 'o my'. Since it was so big we decided to SHARE it....

Michelle...and Mr Cambell in the background...lol.

    Vic and I

    Michelle And Yvonne

Michelle was gonna take a picture for Vic and I but at the last minute she turned it around to take the pic of herself and yvonne...this was the result....And well we did the same thing.

So...the SHARKIE freeze. We all...dove in. It was sooo funny, we were fighting for head space. I couldn't drink without cracking up. Everytime we said 'ok go!' we'd all lean up from our chairs and sorta hold a semi squat position, and try to find head space to the straw. It was SO funny.

OK enough of that...we then took off. All the way there we were sooo hyper. And once we got to the Asia-World Expo michelle and yvonne started singing black eyed peas songs...wrong conert. Btw the washroom lines were SOOOOOO long. There were two washrooms at either side of the room, Vic and I decided to go to the one with the shorter line. When we got inside we realised it was the SAME bathroom, with two exits and two VERY long lines.

    HERE WE GO....

JANICE came out first to promooote. She had a small corner of fans which cheered like crazy. The rest of the audience was like 'ahhh get off the stage'.

    Ok that's Janice.

O before I start...can I thank you GOD for the WONDERFUL camera you have given me . A camera that works miracles....HERE GOOOES PEOPLe...AHHHHHHHHHHHH

SHANE....o I love him. My FAVOURITE, he's the one with the voice, BEAUTIFUL voice...ahhhh...sing me to sleeeep! He's got a baby though...NOOOOooooooooo. He's only...26? I thought he was like 30...ya what a loyal fan I am...

    SCHOMKEN

This is for you michelle...the gay mark. (Yes he's gay)

    KIAN...this is for you vic.

SCHOMKEN. Don't you just LOVE that picture? Oooooo me loves it. He's so beautiful.

    SCHOMKEN

    Nikkkkki nikkki nikkki, so hot.

Hmm...yes that guy is mark. Compare him with Shane, style, attitude, voice...and WHY are you still wearing that hat? You would think someone rich and famous would afford an image advisor. I guess he thought he didn't need one...well...world peace! Ya...!

Don't Cha. Yes they sang don't cha, I really hate that song. But it was nice to dance to. They did a lot of...pelvic thrusts. Hahah and this is one of them. HAHA you see mark at the far right.

    SUITS...golden suit.

    NICE

At one point in the concert they posed for a picture. They said that at every concert they would pose for a photo. And...here's what I got...

AWESOME, absolutely awesome. Thanks to my lovely MAJOR zooooom camera. Why does Mark look so lost? Anyhow...

I love these pictures cos you can see the audience too.

    We're happy. haha

After this they said bye, it was TOO soon. I KNEW they were coming back out. They HAD to...and they did...hahaha....

    You raise me up

    Whooa

Then it was reallly time to say goodbye...so sad....They said we were their best crowd...I really hope they mean that. O man...love them so much.

    NOOO...don't go!!!

Man it was SOOOOO amazing. We were quite close but couldn't really see because everyone in front of us just so happened to be REALLY tall. We thought maybe it'd be better if the seats were assigned by height. We'd be right at the frrront. So...that was a night to remember. I'm listening to them right now...sigh...missing them. My first two concerts every, both Westlife. hahah I'll try to find some pictures of the last concert.

WELLL that's all. I really hope you guys liked the pictures. If you want bigger versions, find me on Msn.

    Much love
    ~*L!D!*~

Ps I have some really good vids as well. I just can't seem to upload them. I think they're too big. Well if I managed to...I'll add them to my blog.

  • Heyy everyone,

Well since the summer is OVER, I thought I'd start blogging again. Since Vic had vonderful updates about her summer which were so entertaining - I wish I was there with you VIC - I decided maybe I'll show you all some pictures of my summer. AHH my stupid computer is lagging so everything i write shows up seconds after I write it so I can at the moment see seconds....and there again ok.

Well as some of you may know, I worked over the summer. Not work experience, I got pay cheques...which were glorious. GLORIOUS! Ahem...so yes I worked at my church office as the childrens ministry summer intern. It was really great. At first of course, I was scared because I was at an office with all these....grown ups! So it was sorta intimidating, but I soon warmed up and got to know everyone there better. I had this awesome card which allowed me to get in and out of the office, they don't have keys there, it's like an octopus thing, you BEEP it on this thing and it lets you in. I had it pinned to me with this contracting thing which I would pull and then BEEP ahh it was soooo cooool. If I was a permanent member of staff I'd have my picture on it! haha...

So as you may have guessed, as the childrens ministry intern, I did a LOT of things to do with kids. Man it was amazing, I taught twice a week. The children were both...good and bad but in the end...all kids have such innocence in them (ya right...jkjk). I also filmed and edited three videos for the BIG church to see which was all about Kids Club and about volunteering. So that was great exposer, approximately 1000 people watched my videos every week.

Here's Ming and I doing crafts, preparing stuff for the kids and decorations for Summer Fun (this day club program for kids from 5 to 9 in the summer)...btw Ming is a 22 year old who just finished uni here in HK and was looking for work. She's a preschool engish teacher now and in about a year she plans to go to Africa to live and work full time...awesome eh?

Those are kid prof and kiddy sized metal detectors haha, o I love them.

PAINTING...it's a heart. You might be wondering...what is it? But you'll see...

I love that picture, the one with my shoes in it. And...that's the top of a tree we managed to make together.

Ming and I being v proud of our...tree....which feel apart once the kids saw it...they found it O so cute. That's all the matters then I guess.

It's a kiddy sized registration booth! haha it's sooo cute...o man. Actually it's a little small for kids, the kids had to bend down or even knell. haha. And those are palm trees I made. I like the colours.

O and another thing I did for them was reorganise their storage room and supply unit, it was at first...a total mess, like heaps and heaps of stuff, just STUFF. You would find a random green plastic ball in a box which is wrapped in newspaper and placed with a doll and you wonder...what on earth is it doing there? But ya now it's all organised and happy and colourful and beautiful. It took me 6 weeks to dump out everything, go through all the crap...um I mean stuff and re stock it all into new boxes and plastic drawers which we got from pricerite, then I labeled everything etc etc. I got a really good workout walking in and out of the storage room, climbing up ladders and taking down boxes. Yay for drawers and plastic boxes. I actually went onto Martha Stewards website to get inspiration.

Here are pics of me on the last day...with the final product, a beautiful storage room, space used up to it's full potential...and I won't show you pictures of how it used to look, just...it was MUCH smaller..and the door was harder to close.

And here are some of the labels I made, the background pictures were pics I took from the stuff we had in the storage room.

And here's my crew...haha well more like my boss, my supervisor and my co-worker? It's funny, the lady standing to my right is Emmas to-be aunt. I was talking to Cicy about what I wanted to do for uni and where I wanted to go. I said I was looking into Theatre Arts stuff and she said 'you sound a lot like my fiances neice...' 'o really?' 'yaa...she's...she's your age' 'o...reallly?...what school' *pause*...'sha tin?' 'OMG...what's her name?' 'Emma...?' 'Emma...emmaa....do I know an emma?' 'Emma Chan?' 'OMG!!!!!!' Ya....so ya that's pretty cool.  Btw she's getting married in a bout 2 weeks...wohoo (to Emmas uncle).

btw you see that card hanging from my pocket? Well yup that's the BEEP card. Muhahahahah!!!

So every sunday I would teach approx 40 to 60 kids from ages 3 to 10...it was crazy. It was both good and bad, as all things are. It was horrible when the kids weren't listening, running around like crazy and being insane and hyper. But when they allll know your name and come running to you and climb on you and want to hold your hand and actually fight to six next to you...it's just...so sooo lovely. I love them ALL so much. It was a disadvantage teaching kids of such a large age range, it's hard to talk to a 3 year old the same way you would to a 6 year old let alone a 10 year old. But the fun thing was, going into a room you may get a 6 year old, a 10 year and a 3 year old all run to you and it's just...ahhhh SO amazing. I NEED A BABY!

Another great thing was meeting people who helped out with kids club, v godly, loving people. I was able to talk to older people who gave me encouragement, advice and just a hug was...v nice. O man. The last day of 'Metamorphosis' was today, the program in which we teach the children who 'God wants to transform us into new people JUST like caterpillars are transformed into...what? What are they transformed into?' 'BUTTERFLIES!'

This is us at the Grand Hyatt

Me and Adrian, she's soo cute. Then me with Ryan and Ian. They're cousins, verrrry good kids, they're so well behaved. Ians really smart, it must be the name...

That's me with mary grace, the pastors adopted daughter (was abandoned as a baby in a market with her umbilical cord still attached) and...um I dunno his name! ahh I feel so bad about that. Well...I didn't know him v well, he wanted a picture with me though :).

I also danced twice a week, wednesdays and fridays at the APA. Jazz and Tap. And this is the view from the bridge (haha) on the way there...I thought it was a v pretty view of HK. I'm still having the lessons actually, next week is the last.

This is us at the convention centre, our church doesn't have one venue we can go to week after week, we move around. We're usually at the convention centre, but they're gonna start doing major renovation so we'll have to go else where...

My MOMMY! hehe...she's eating a cracker...

Ming and I again, we taught together for 6 weeks in a row.

TWINS, alex and avary. Aww they're so sweet, they used to look EXACTLY the same, Now...um...either...alex...or avary cut her hair.

Tiffany and Tymon, Tiffany is a genius, she's really smart for a 9 year old. And she's like a model kid, she AWESOME at drama and she loves posing in front of a camera, she's a model kid...ahhh. And she goes to QBS, my primary school.

Then last sunday was my last week of teaching, I taught 10 weeks in a row.

    I sorta look like I'm singing...but I'm not. I'm teeaching.

    Now I'm drawing

That's Ming and I infront of about 70 kids...o my, at first I couldn't do it. I was really scared of the kids actually, I can barely handle 15 but 70...3 to 10...are u kiddding me? well yes I managed to do it, I'm a lot better at scolding kids now. When you have 70, there are BOUND to be ones that don't listen, run around or bother other kids.

Adrian and Rachel, other pastors daughter. She just turned 7 on saturday.

OMG they're SOO adorable! i don't know their names again because I just met them but aren't they sooo cute??!?! The blond one...he's SO cute. Gonna grow up to be a hottie...his hair is even gelled...o my. He's like...5. hahahaha. Cutie.

Cherilyn, Mina and Phoebe. 'Are you chinese?' 'Ya...do I look it?' 'ya...we're korean' AH so cute.

    Christie...and her sister. They're Canadian...wohoo.

OK..that's it. Yes...that was my summer. Kids, Church, Kids, Bible, Kids, Crafts, Kids. It was good, very good. I enjoyed myself. I was at first sorta upset about staying in HK and not being able to do all the things I wanted to do, go to Canada to see my bro, go to DCLA, go to scottland for a dance camp...haha. But my summer turned out to be much better than I had ever planned and expected. He is definitely faithful...

OK that's all from me...I hope you liked the pictures.

  • Hey everyonee

So I decided to quickly blog because that last entry is just sitting there everytime I sign in. 'SUMMER...SCHOOL IS OVER!!' soo well here it is 'SCHOOL...SUMMER IS OVER!!'. Yup, 2nd day of school tomorrow. Whipeee!! I have loads of hwk to have done by trw. Research commission, 2500 words, I only have 600ish down now. EE...Bio...French. O my.

I've been listening to Christina Aguileras new CD, back to basics, it's pretty good actually. I really like it how it's all 20's music, it's like Chicago, Jazzy, Cabaret, very musical like, theatrical...it's good. I've always liked her more than Britney, she's tons more talented and it's amazing how she can change her look so fast and it's still so genuine. She went from cute pop princess to confident, sluty, hip hop, gansta chic to classy (ish), smokey...20's bar band singer type. And she's only 24...

ANYWHOO...well since everyone should be back at school by now. I say good luck and blessings to everyone. Let's not freak out too much because we still have each other. School is almost finished for us...AHHHHHH how freakily exciting is that? OO my. Ok well nighty night to all a ya'll!
